Bamboo has the highest vegetative silica content of any plant.  Silica promotes hair and nail growth as well as adding strength and flexibility to all parts of your body.  Silica is not common in the foods that we eat.  Bamboo also contains 4% soluble fiber.  Soluble fiber helps to relax your digestive system and so is good for people who have stomach tension.  It helps to regulate the digestive system by coating the lining of the stomach and the intestinal tract, this allows the system to relax and begin to work optimally.  Bamboo also contains antioxidants.

This tea is a great one for brewing and spraying onto the skin after a day in the sun or to relieve skin irritations or insect bites. The mint instantly cools the skin and can be kept in the refrigerator for an extra refreshing cool mist. This can also act as a rejuvenating toner. The mint tightens the skin while the bamboo delivers silica the building block of collagen in a format the skin can use. Hydration is key to beautiful skin and this tea infuses it with the nutrients it needs to look it’s best.
